National Environment Assessment Service (NEAS) Consultancy Support: EIA Officer
TEC has been providing consultancy support to the Environment Agency's NEAS for a number of years. Projects have included Fordingbridge, Ringwood and Downton Flood Defence Schemes.
Tasks involve ensuring that EIAs are undertaken as appropriate and that the schemes are designed to be compatible with environmental requirements and the Environment Agency's policies and objectives for sustainability.
TEC are also responsible for inputs to planning and approval processes and for working with the scheme engineers to optimise environmental performance.
