EIA for New Quito International Airport: Ecuador
Jo Treweek was commissioned by Komex to act as Technical Director for the EIA of the new International Airport.
As technical director Jo:
- Produced the Terms of Reference for the EIA based on donor requirements;
- Reviewed donor requirements to streamline international obligations and to ensure international best practice and legal compliance;
- Undertook stakeholder consultations;
- Co-authored the EIA report including a separate Non Technical Summary;
- Provided senior technical review for the Environmental Statement; and
- Produced Wildlife Hazard Management plan and co-produced EMPs.
